Yeah, not excited with the notion of being back in the office five days a week. Makes looking for jobs a pain.
I assume because it all does tie back to math terms. There is a lot of computer science in which arrays/lists are used for vector arithmetic (graphics, ML, generic math). I suspect only later in the field did arrays mutate into generic lists that you see in R and Python.
It really helps visualize what a steal the Series S is. It may be holding Xbox back a degree, but that thing is dirt cheap. I got one on sale and it’s been great.
If you’re looking for something that’s out now, there is Wargroove 1 and 2. It uses a fantasy setting, but it plays the same as advanced wars (unit factories that require money).
I wasn’t a huge fan on how Wargroove handled COs, but otherwise it’s a great tactical strategy game. Also can only speak for the first one, haven’t gotten around to the second.
I agree with you about Chanis character. It felt like they butchered her character and motivations to make her more palatable to modern audiences.
I was once trying to get into Gintama and legitimately read a review that said it gets a lot better around episode 300 (or something in that ballpark).
Upvote for 40 puzzles, great game(s)!!
Halo 1-3, both the single player story and the evolution of the multi-player.
Yeah, I think the point is that the person answering was wrong/over complicating. If x=10i, then x^2 would be -100 (or potentially -10 depending on what you think the ^2 is applied to).
That’s an apples to oranges comparison. Self driving cars aren’t driving on the same roads and in the same conditions. Maybe they’re better, but that hasn’t really been tested/evaluated.
You don’t have to use the app, the website is fine. However, with dominos if you aren’t using one of their coupon “deals” you’re overpaying for their food.
Their whole gimic is how the “coupons” save you money, but it’s not fast food prices without them.
That’s like 50% of all tip calculations nowadays. It’s really obnoxious and feels like it’s trying to make you feel guilty for tipping an appropriate amount, but taxes and service charges aren’t part of the service.
Haha, thanks! I always mess those words up.
Additionally, and probably most importantly, Luke actually isn’t strong enough to defeat the emperor at the end. He losses. However, he wins over his father and that’s what turns the tide.
Similarly, while Anikan has some mary sue moments, he has a far share of losses (chase for Padme’s would be assassin, count doku fight, Obi-Wan fight, etc.)
I think the only time Rey “losses” a battle is in force awakens when she gets captured (but even after being captured she overpowers Ben almost immediately).
Not sure if you’ve watched the office, but the top picture is Jim, one of the main characters. For most of the first few seasons he’s pursuing another character Pam. In the top picture he’s revealing to the audience he’s going to propose to Pam and makes it out that it’ll be this big thing, however it ends up happening at a gas station (due to a moment where they are long distance).
Is the assumption we would have still ended up in Afghanistan? With Gore as president im not sure that would be a guarantee.
The original definitely took swipes at George W. Bush, but definitely felt like it had more focus on anit-capatilistic/corporate America than the show. The comics also have a better subplot around vengeance and finding forgiveness/moving on than the show.
Its interesting, cause while they start with exactly the same setup, the show and the comic are completely different stories. If you like the show it may be worth reading the comics (although they can be a bit much).
I think it’s seo and ad revenue, but who dictates the rules for ad revenue? Obviously not just Google, but yeah still pretty much at fault.
