I’m well aware of that fact. I think you misunderstand something. Someone can have “elevated testosterone”, but “elevated XY chromosomes” as you used it doesn’t make sense. Are you confusing XY chromosomes and testosterone?
What in the world do you mean by “elevated XY chromosomes”? Do you mean testosterone?
Michael Phelps is a person that went through male puberty competing against other people that did too. It is completely different and unfair to force women to fight and compete against people with XY chromosomes that went through male puberty. Michael Phelps has had all of his records subsequently broken by other men. Women will never win competitions against or break records set by people with XY chromosomes.

I would be pretty surprised if this is anything other than 5αR2D, which is what Caster Semenya has. Other sporting leagues have banned people with that condition from competing in the women’s divisions because it’s not fair competition. The IOC should follow suit. In general, intersex people should compete in the men’s divisions unless they can show that they don’t have unfair advantage vs women.
I never thought this was the trans agenda or anything like that, but it was really shitty of Imane Khelif and Lin Yu-ting to keep competing on a technicality when they found out they were intersex.
It was also gaslighting for everyone pointing out the obvious to get banned for “misinformation”. Ironically, a lot of people were pushing misinformation themselves and not getting called out on it, because they were saying what people wanted to hear.
Khelif most likely wasn’t born with a vagina, just ambiguous genitalia that looked like a vulva. He almost certainly has testicles like Caster Semenya that induced male puberty, and likewise has no female reproductive system.
I’ve been somewhat sloppy with terminology in this thread, using “man” as short for “man with a DSD”, which is better termed “intersex”. The important thing is that Khelif is intersex from the XY side, which gives him an unfair advantage against women in sports.
I think it’s important to not call Khelif a woman. It is unsafe for him to compete in women’s boxing, and it’s much easier for people to use bad faith arguments and spread misinformation by saying “She’s a woman competing against women, what’s the problem?” It clears things up to say “He’s an intersex person that went through male puberty competing against women”
Oh FFS, now Khelif’s coach admits it:
This was a lot of effort for them to just drop the farce after he already walked off with the gold
I think a more fair recap is that you tried slinging lots of mud, declared that no evidence exists, ignored the part where this can be easily fixed with a simple cheek swab, and then shat on the women that had their dreams crushed.
Independent lab tests confirmed Khelif and Lin are men. A journalist has claimed to see the test results (which you neglected from your summary). The IOC knew about these tests, and so had to correct itself after saying it’s not a DSD case (because it is). That’s enough to have any reasonable person say “Hey, maybe a quick cheek swab to prove this would be a good idea”. You keep on skipping past the point that this is super easy and simple to clear up. Why don’t they just do that?
Yes, saying “The IOC makes the rules. The women who lost because of the rules can’t complain, because only winners can contest the rules” is a classic catch-22. It is bullshit, but not in the way you meant. They’re allowed to be pissed off that the rules allow men to compete, and advocate for change.
I hope you’ll listen to the evidence as it comes out, like it did for Caster “My testicles don’t make me any less of a woman” Semenya.
Edit: If you or anyone else would like more facts, here’s a good rundown of the situation:
What a delightfully absurd catch-22. “You can only protest the rules that prevent you from winning if you’re a winner”. Joseph Heller would be proud.
The women they fought think they cheated by being men. The IOC should listen to the women boxers speaking out about this. Women in Olympic sports overwhelmingly want sex testing
Do you realize that the IOC’s “testing” consisted of “looking at their passports”? That’s literally it.
The IBA had independent labs do the testing, and a journalist claims to have seen the results in person: https://nitter.poast.org/alanabrahamson/status/1820036924452618281
But again, it doesn’t matter if the IBA is corrupt, we don’t have to believe them one bit. A cheek swab will settle this. Why don’t Khelif and Lin clap back at the haters and prove them all wrong? Otherwise the women they fought are rightfully outraged that they lost because men cheated.
The IOC themselves said that this wasn’t a DSD case, and then had to correct themselves. If Khelif doesn’t have DSD, why did they correct themselves?
As stated in the OP, it doesn’t matter if the IBA is crooked. It also doesn’t matter why they tested Khelif and Lin. It matters what the tests said. If they’re women, a simple cheek swab will prove it. Why don’t they do that and show the IBA to be lying liars?
Can you point out the propaganda exactly? Just wishing things weren’t true doesn’t make it so
Is there anything incorrect about what I said?
This is the same deflection atheists have been getting from the religious since time immemorial. “Why can’t you just respect our woo??”. Do you have an answer to those questions?
What proof would you accept? Why do you believe without proof that he is female?
Addendum, this is fucked up
This is clearly gaslighting. Liberals are fucking up hard here and will drive people away.
That’s fine. I’m atheist, and don’t subscribe to your religion, because I care about science.
Then you’ll believe that it’s a DSD case? They had to correct a statement that they put out
They know he has a DSD and don’t care. You’ll also then believe that the entirety of their “checking” was “yup, his passport says female”?
Suing those people really takes balls
