I have 1/3rd acre, takes 2 batteries to mow uninterrupted. Anything bigger than that I hope it’s not just grass, that’s a waste of space.

Flipping it over is often the correct way to drain the oil.
I just blocked individual hexbear and lemmygrad users that were annoying (posting pig anuses or dogpiling/gish galloping/whatabouting). Took a lot of blocking, but a few hundred blocks later later, most of the hexbears and tankies left are pretty chill. I don’t want to end up in a bubble and only hear opinions I already agree with. I think I did block one far right instance entirely, cause I don’t value the ideas of bigots and fascists. Can’t remember who it was though.
I work in a restaurant and 10 lbs of onions lasts 36 hours. We buy the shittiest chef knife Ed Don has to offer and it’s fine. I like nice knives on a hobby level, but they’re not necessary on a personal or professional level.
I remember leaded gas too, from 15 seconds ago when a propeller plane flew over my house dumping lead out it’s exhaust. They inexplicably are still allowed to use leaded gas in small aircraft. Even new planes are designed to only accept leaded cause it’s all they have at the airports.
This is the best we can put forward as a nation, a narcissist with dementia, a normal old guy with dementia, and a guy who refused to have his brain tumor investigated and opted to believe the one guy that said it could be a dead brain worm. Also probably with dementia. We’re fucking doomed. I’m still voting for normal guy with dementia, but… Doomed.

If you’re living near a small airport you also get lead dumped on you because small planes still use leaded gas. They don’t have to, they were just never required to stop so they didn’t.
About $70 I think. I didn’t have to deal with buying an extra battery, cause my original mower was stolen out of my garage. I keep the battery inside to prevent temperature degradation, so I still had it when I bought another mower with the battery included.
Before that I’d just mow half, and do other yardwork while the battery was charging.
I bought it after getting tired of having to fix my old gas mower. The pull cord broke, then the mechanism that it attaches to broke, then the priming bulb cracked and started leaking gas, having to go get gas for it, etc… the electric just works. I don’t have to winterize or fuck with the carburetor, I just press the button and it works. It’s more powerful than my old mower, doesn’t bog down if I skip mowing for a week. It’s better in every way.
