Yeah I made a mistake. The proper calculation for an increase by 80%, then 300%, then 1400% should be
x * ((1+0.80) * (1+3.00) * (1+14.00) - 1) =
x*(1.8 * 4 * 15 - 1) = x*107 = 10700%
The trick is to time the cocaine and crystal meth ingestion so that they peak at the same time that you orgasm, leading to an 80% * 300% * 1400% =
7460%10700% dopamine increase.
That’s different; it implies one of:
- The amount of respect that is due amounts to zero.
- Some amount of respect/disrespect is due, but you are not offering that amount of respect.
“With all due respect” and “with all due disrespect” both contain the exact same amount of respect.

46·20 days agoThis cynicism towards LLMs here truly boggles my mind. So many people seem to build their entire identity around feeling superior about themselves due to all the products and services they don’t use.
I think they’re just scared as hell of the possible negative effects and react instinctively. But the cat is out of the bag and downvoting / hating on every post on Lemmy that mentions positive sides is not going to help them steer the world into whatever alternative destiny that they’re hoping for.
The thing that puzzles me is that this is typically the hallmark of older more conservative generations, and I imagine that Lemmy has a relatively young demographic.
