i agree with lovs, every point is basically wrong

old protocols still work fine, people still like and use rss. there is a question of scaling although that seems to come up in lots of places, not just fediverse

the fediverse in some ways actually isnt “hilariously chaotic” enough and there are already actually too many rules… even many of the things we post that are offensive on this instance we could often post on reddit but not on other lemmies for some reason

fediverse is pretty user-friendly, we could make documentation to make it easier for people to use
