What’s funny, is you’ll get women on the opposite side saying that pornography is empowering to women.

But then at the same time, you’ll get women who complain that it’s degrading.

Most of the women in the sex industry have been sexually abused in their lives this is usually why they fall into that type of work.

So I do not think that it should be glamoroized or something to aspire to.

It gives men unrealistic expectations of beauty and sex and it affects women’s self-image and feelings of self-worth.

I would have to say what pisses me off the most about this topic, is how not just men but women, normalize it and make it as though that the people who have a problem with pornography are selfish and that somehow they are the ones with the problem in the relationship.

I’m not a Christian I consider myself agnostic but I think that sex is sacred.

It’s been cheapened throughout history in my opinion and with pornography especially and I feel like we need to get away from that.

Overall I agree, I think banning porn would be silly. Porn would naturally lose influence if we saw a return to more traditional family values.
