this was from /r/all, this was a foreseen crisis that a lot of millennial and now zoomer women have been very unmarried and chronically single and will at some point become unable to have kids (approaching that point now?)

honestly I’ve never been super focused on becoming a parent, I thought it was something that might happen, but I’ve also been pretty single throughout life and considered an intentionally celibate life

It was really always just about meeting the right person, and I’ve met some “ok” people I’m just not sure who would be the “right” person for me

The parents of some of these kids seemed to give them no warning that they have a timeframe to have kids within though

I think it’s true that many of them are waking up rather late to this realization that you can’t have kids forever, especially as a woman.

What’s going to be even more tragic is the wave of self-sterilizing zoomers who eventually figure out that they are not “trans”.

that’s another risk of “transgenderism” that isn’t talked about, a lot of things non-trans people do don’t affect their fertility… fertility is a thing some people take for granted so much, I guess women should be taught they have more of a time limit with it and trans people that you’re absolutely getting rid of it in some cases

Yeah, the way they talk about it is criminal, they talk about it like it’s no big deal and fully reversible.

So in my opinion. I’m not trying to say this to shit on dudes and say that it’s all their fault or whatever. But to be honest with you, I think that a lot of guys Millennial guys, they were not raised traditionally.

Because I’m in this age range and to be completely honest with you a lot of men that are my age and whom I’ve grown up with and my dating experience and all of that, none of them wanted to get married.

Men are taught that it’s one of the worst mistakes that they can do financially and so forth. So you have to remember that women just in my opinion, we’re kind of robbed of getting that kind of commitment from a man as far as getting a guy that will actually fucking marry them from the dating pool. So we were met with a lot of fucking losers.

And maybe some decent people but we just didn’t click or who knows what else wasn’t right. So what are you really left with? I mean, I personally would rather be single than be with a guy that I have to support financially.

I’m not interested in that you need to make more money than me and you need to be the one in charge. A lot of people including women because of crazy leftists and feminists and shit sadly, they have killed the traditional values.

And that has really affected a lot of it so if people don’t value marriage anymore and family I mean what do you expect?

I’m not talking about you I’m just saying in general that’s what the outcome is going to be you can’t sit there and wonder why all this is happening now.

I mean you’re teaching your sons that getting married is a stupid mistake and if you have kids you’re fucked because you’re tied to that woman forever.

And then you’re teaching women that they need to be the man and make the money and pay all the bills I mean look what you’re left with.

That’s what’s went wrong you can’t wonder why now what did you think was going to happen?

a lot of guys weren’t raised traditionally

definitely true, I posted a couple things in the mgtow community about how men are basically expected to do four times as much work to be “traditional”. so yeah you’d have to expect to mostly date “losers” probably, because that’s what the system creates by default

      none wanted to get married

as I posted in mgtow it also seems to maybe be a class issue, for example for some reason the working class doesn’t seem to value marriage

it can be one of the worst mistakes financially

I think a lot of sons have picked up on this from when their parents or people they’ve seen have gotten divorced, more than it being taught?

And then you’re teaching women that they need to be the man and make the money and pay all the bills

Yeah it was really split up by design, unfortunately a tragic temporary loss I guess for those who can’t find their way through the confusion, and leaves fewer people to form families and bring up kids for the future generations.

I’m not sure what game the elites are playing, like there’s the one idea that they want there to be less people so they can have more of the world to themselves, the other idea is they want there to be more people in the world so there’s more workers, another thought in the opposite direction is maybe automation will get rid of a lot of jobs and less people will be needed, and on and on it can be confusing to figure out why people are doing things for what reason

I like how you brought up it has to do with like a class issue. Because that is like so true man. Like back where I’m from like anybody who is like from any type of wealth like not even super rich people but you know people who are doing good like they did not like date or marry poor people at all it didn’t matter if it was like a man or a woman

Memes are an idea that came about before the Internet form of memes. It’s the idea that ideas are like genes, and they can survive or die.

One way memes can replicate is by being ideas that spread easily. However, that’s not all there is to it. Genetics can have high reproduction rates but be deadly to the people who engage with them. Look at the people of easter island who destroyed all the life on the island to build giant heads, killing themselves out in the process.

I think the antinatal memes out there, the antimarriage memes, they’re the same. Spread easily, but I think they kill themselves out quickly (Give it a few decades and everyone with this stupid meme will be dead and childless, peacefully in their beds).

So let’s say that all the people who don’t believe in healthy relationships go off and do their own thing. “their own thing” results in catastrophic failure to procreate or even culturally pass on their ideology.

You protect yourself by not getting married, by not having kids – guess what happens? The your story ends there. You’ve protected yourself so much that you protected yourself from existence, and every idea you have ends there…

Life is about taking the right risks. Take no risks at all and you are never rewarded – you just die. Take big stupid risks and you are also never rewarded, you just die. It’s about figuring out the risks that’ll result in the outcomes you want out of life with the lowest chance of loss.

Not to refer back to my own book again, but I have a chapter on attraction, and it starts with a statement including the following sentence: “Just because it’s important, powerful, and amazing doesn’t mean it’s necessarily perfectly safe.” but despite that and many other warnings, the book implicitly and explicitly says it’s a thing worth fighting for, because it’s so important.

There was a sentence, “Many of your deepest-rooted fears and ambitions are written into your blood, in a library that was passed down by millions of generations of successful creatures going all the way back to the single celled organisms that first spawned within the primordial ooze.” that really helped me realize we are the holders of a torch that goes back billions of years, and it almost feels like a violation against nature to selfishly and willfully extinguish that flame. Who are you, such a tiny speck of dirt almost indistinguishable throughout history, to make that decision for such a long line?

This viewpoint makes us both incredibly important but just one little pixel on a line that goes back further than we can imagine.
