    Has a possible motive ever been found for why he did this? Did he have a connection to them or just psychotic random killing or a burglary turned mass murder?

      Something about him being interested/obsessed with serial killers. He went to school for a degree in FBI forensics or something to that effect. He even had a reddit account and sent a few users a survey to do regarding criminal minds.

      That’s just what I can remember off the top of my head, but it’s much deeper then that.
