I once heard that cramps are from lactic acid and oxygen helps the lactic acid breaks down faster so breathing in time with your running helps stop lactic acid build up… I guess I’m wrong?
Yeah I suppose if your VO2 max is low enough that might have an effect. It’s possible that my breathing is naturally in rhythm to my running. I do keep a rock solid cadence.
