Personally quite a fan of the idea of making my own pistol (or, well, some of it) in the comfort of my own home, but far too poor to get a 3d printer that’ll actually do a good job.
Here you go. If you’re in the US, most states have stupidly lax laws on homemade firearms. It basically boils down to don’t make them too short, don’t make them full auto, put a serial number on it, and pay your taxes.

Serial number not necessary unless you’re selling it.
They like you having it incase it gets stolen.
That said, “1” is technically a valid serial.
Not my problem what “they like.” If it gets stolen, I’ll print another.
Mfers can literally do anything in the US as long as they pay their taxes.
