A felon who incited a riot that led to the deaths and injuries of multiple law enforcement officers. And who has since attacked those officers (and anyone supporting them) in public statements whenever they became a politically inconvenient reminder of his actions.
Those military “suckers and losers” voting for him are beyond me.
To be completely fair… The statement that he made that military people in general are suckers and losers is based off of one guys take and when you get the full context and quote, he’s at Arlington and he is saying something like, “And what did these guys die for?” (in response to talk of the guys who died in Afghanistan)
He implied McCain is a loser… There’s a lot with McCain to digest. For instance, there’s a lot of people out there who insist McCain was never tortured, he stayed in one of the best prisons, was completely cooperative with his captors, and always maintained a very good relationship with his captors. There are also those who say tapes of himself denouncing the war and US government and encouraging others to desert still exist somewhere classified.
McCain was the son of the highest ranking Naval officer in all of the Pacific when he was shot down, btw. This isn’t like some random guy from Ohio who became a hero - this is an Elite who became a hero because he was an Elite that had to go through an ordeal.
IDK, I never saw ‘the money shot’ that was actually really, truly evidence of his callousness across the board to troops.
