Do you think you’re the only person in the world capable of holding two non-conflicting opinions or something?

I don’t love Newsom and it’s obvious he’s trying to garner support but…it’s still funny? And it’s getting air time on the right, shining a light on how ridiculous the tactic is.

There’s soooo much to dunk on Newsom for but this ain’t it

      but…it’s still funny

      It’s not …

      He’s just acting like trump

Like, it’s only been a few months since he was bringing Steve Bannon and Charlie Kirk onto his own podcast, and agreeing with them.

He was acting like trump then.

He is acting like trump now.

      It’s not a joke, it’s not ironic.

      It’s who he is.

        I believe that you don’t think it’s funny. I don’t believe you don’t recognize it’s a joke.

          It’s a joke bro

          Was this a joke too?

Newsom also agreed with or praised Kirk scores of times — so much, in fact, that Kirk later said “Gov. Newsom was being overly effusive in his praise of me.” Listening to the Democrat — who as mayor of San Francisco two decades ago was at the vanguard of the gay rights movement — gush with warmth and admiration for a far-right commentator who has promoted the racist “great replacement theory,” called for completely banning gender-affirming care for trans people and described trans people as “disgusting, mentally ill, neurotic, predatory freaks” was jarring and disheartening.

          https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/gavin-newsom-is-pivoting-to-the-right-it-could-blow-up-in-his-face/ar-AA1B4tJS

          What about this?

In the headline-generating moment of the interview, Newsom said it was “deeply unfair” to allow transgender women and girls to compete in female sports. He also objected to “woke culture,” saying nobody in his office ever used the term “Latinx” — even though he has used the term himself in the past multiple times. The conversation seemed to signal that Newsom is moving to the right of the Democratic Party establishment on a number of culture war issues.

          It’s all a joke bro…

THE JOKE (VERY GENIUS) IS THE TWEET ABOUT TRUMP “LIKE THIS” AND IT’S EXTRA FUNNY THAT THE RIGHT WING MEDIA (MORONS) ARE TALKING ABOUT HOW STUPID AND “CHILDISH” IT IS TO COMMUNICATE THIS WAY

None of is relevant when we’re just laughing at the tweet. If Hegseth punched Trump in the face, would you not laugh?

I applaud your effort at carrying the conversation through despite the other person refusing to acknowledge that Trump satire aimed at Trump (and making the right upset) is funny as hell. It is. You’re doing great.

I’ve seen them around for a long time and while I don’t always agree with them, I don’t believe them to be a troll.

It’s fine if they don’t think the satire is funny but they should at least acknowledge that it’s an obvious joke. And that we’re not suddenly backing Newsom for president because he did a funny
