Censorship is a real problem, but you don’t have to embrace it. That’s just making the problem worse.

People have always avoided saying things that others might view as weird or repulsive. The true change is that everyday conversation is more monitored now than it ever has been before. We have let insipidly authoritarian technology into our lives in an intimate way.
