    I went the opposite way, had Nextcloud but I only really needed it for back-ups and it’s slow as shit and would time out transferring huge files (100+GB) no matter how many optimizations I tried.

    Syncthing on the other hand will fire everything through at line rate, no problem. So I use Syncthing for everything now, even on my phone

      Up until now I have not seen encountered any issues with the web client. Their mobile app is absolutely shit.

      It’s also really useful for sharing files. From time to time I photograph my friends and sending the final result after esiting is extreamly easy

        I have to say, sharing files or having your files “with you” was one of the really nice parts about it.
