It’s more of a spacing issue for me, if they don’t leave enough space by doing this then they are assholes. Sometimes everyone parks a bit to one side so you have to play along if you want to leave enough space.
Happened to me the other day, had to squeeze out the drivers seat
The parking spaces are covered with snow and ice at the moment so you can’t see most of the lines and pretty much everyone is doing it.
What about that happening in the summer though?

It’s an expression used where I’m from. Saw one guy who’d parked his BMW (of course) diagonally across 3 spaces. If I was there in my car I absolutely would have boxed him in.
