I hope people realize that trump was able to do all this because of years of bad law writing and eroding of the balance of powers. All that concentrated power is great until someone you disagree with sits in the throne you built. It would be nice if after trump, we learn our lesson and vastly shrink the power of the office. Unfortunately , I believe it is likely people won’t realize this and will put even more effort into strengthening the power of that throne after trump is gone, in an effort to more quickly undo his work, which of course means someone will be able to redo the damage even faster at a later time.
IP is simply a state backed monopoly privilege. This obviously leads to a slowing of innovation and price rises due to lack of (by force) competition. IP is unethical and doesn’t even accomplish what it sets out to do. You don’t need government promises of monopoly rights to create innovation in the marketplace, competition drives innovation.
No. It’s useful when you need a quick picture for something or help visualizing something. A huge timesaver. I haven’t seen it generate anything good enough to be hung in an art museum, so I don’t really understand why anyone would hate it. It’s not really competition for actual art. Also, I want to say that I don’t think anyone’s art was “stolen”. That’s the same ludicrous argument the RIAA uses against online file sharing. Any images used in the training was downloaded, mathematically analyzed, and deconstructed. “Stolen” would require a heist at the museum.

I thought the whole point of entangled communication is that you didn’t need to “send” anything. It automatically flips the entangled bit on the other end, all that “spooky action at a distance” bidness. Why do the need to “send” entangled photons?
How did people figure out what email provider to use?
(Intro) This speech is my recital, I think it’s very vital To get it right, the endpoint’s white— Titrate! Titrate! Here we go!
(Chorus) It’s tricky to turn it white, to turn it white would be real tight Let’s titrate! Titrate! Titrate! Titrate! It’s tricky to turn it white, to turn it white would be real tight Titrate! T-t-t-titrate! Titrate!
(Verse 1) I set up in the lab, a burette in my hand A flask of acid, now add the base, it’s goin’ just as planned But if I go too far, then I will lose my star So I drop it slow, watch it flow, ‘til the pink is out that doh’!
(Chorus) It’s tricky to turn it white, to turn it white would be real tight Lets titrate! Titrate! Titrate! Titrate! It’s tricky to turn it white, to turn it white would be real tight Titrate! T-t-t-titrate! Titrate!
(Verse 2) In the lab, we gotta grab some phenolphthalein One drop too much, the shade will clutch, and wreck the whole routine! The pH curve is steeper when you’re near that equivalence point So add it slow—just one more drop mo’, and then we’re out this joint!
(Chorus) It’s tricky to turn it white, to turn it white would be real tight Let’s titrate! Titrate! Titrate! Titrate! It’s tricky to turn it white, to turn it white would be real tight Titrate! T-t-t-titrate! Titrate! Titrate!
(Outro) We don’t quit, y’all, keep that pipette Keep on drop-drop-drippin’ 'Cause this is it!

Yeah the least they could do is seed forever.

Authoritarian is up on the poltical compass, not right, although its often left since it often requires a powerful state.

It’s good!

Great read, thanks for thoughtful content

Capitalism is defederating power, otherwise youll end up centralizing power and end up under some form of authoritarianism. We have all these elites because of privaleges granted by the state, not capitalism. We need less state if we want more equality.

Vetted members could still bot though or have ther accounts compromised. Not a realistic solution.

Everyday I was there I had to wear a mask and I developed asthma. Believe whatever you want.

I lived there for many years. Trust me, they do.

China pollutes way more than the US though and are far less transparent about it.

So true. IP only helps the corps and slows tech development. Contracts, ndas, and trade secrets are all you really need to keep your ideas safe. If you want your country to develop fast, get rid of any IP laws.
Don’t forget with a signicant pay bump
I’d like to see this redone using energy instead of power. E.g is 2,400 watts during the initial heatup or when the oven reaches stable temperature? They’re not taking into account the time change either.
As a right wing anti gov type, I agree wholeheartedly.
