I get the feeling that the US copyright is largely being operated on a pinky swear basis. For example - the current copyright on the original Bitcoin whitepaper is held by a well known con artist, simply because he was the first to register it.
Interesting approach. Let me try a thing…
WE SHOULD ALL SWITCH TO NOSTR, USING UNMODERATED RELAY!

But seriously, though, sometimes less you know about how other people think, the better for your health. During the pandemic, when the IQ was literally visible on everybody’s faces, never before was I so disgusted and shocked by people around me.
Reporting on negative stuff is one thing. Reporting on mundane news, with 10 reasons why it’s literally killing us, is entirely different thing.
I’ve unsubscribed from worldnews and technology yesterday. I couldn’t bare to read yet another scareporn article pretending to be tech news.
The posts and comments were making me feel worse faster than the interesting information were making me happier.

They totally are. It was quite surprising, because I’ve only ever watched an HDTV rip before, and the scene looked fine there.
Any relation to this guy?
Pretty amazing… that apple allows access to the sensors, and provides an option to mirror the screen over HDMI! Given how touchy feely they were about openning the NFC stack, this is truly unbelievable.

edit: There was a similar hype back in the blockchain era, where people were trying to build decentralized organizations by making all the shareholders directly vote on every decision. Let’s just say this model wasn’t especially successful except for very rare circumstances.
As for KFC deliveries. That doesn’t involve your own personal car so that doesn’t make any sense.
I used to be a city dweller, like you. But now, in bumfuck nowhere, we deliver our own food.
What’s the excuse then?
When the train can park next to my house so that my grandma on a wheelchair can get in, or get me to a KFC in the middle of the night, or move a random piece of furniture, I’m in.
A nice bike lane infrastructure would be a blast too, for when you don’t need to move a cargo.
Both are must for large cities, but unrealistic pretty much everywhere else.
And they managed to do it without us obsessing about their CEO several times a day? I refuse to believe that!
We had that. It wasn’t a future.
The only thing worse than not being able to see people for what they are? Being able to see people for what they are!
Being mainstream is exactly what I liked about reddit. It was the reincarnation of usenet. It has attracted all kinds of people doing all kinds of thing. Are you interested in swastika knitting? Piano jumping? Bathsponge sculpting? You can sure as hell find at least 2 other guys already doing it there.
