You mean like all the biden supporters on here defending his support for genocide?
That’s not the reason why they’re doing this, just like how eliminating the super size option wasn’t to have people eat less junk food. It’s not effective in achieving that. This is just to squeeze more profits out of people, on an item that costs them pennies.
That’s true, but there’s a wide range of things that can be tried before dipping into harmful territory. We should be cultivating an environment of critical thinking. If the reaction is to always immediately defer to experts then you get issues of people taking up healthcare resources for the tiniest issues. Additionally, if you can’t trust people to have a bit of sense when applying remedies, then what makes you think they’ll choose the correct “experts” to listen to?
One of the nice things about the internet is being able to draw upon the experiences of others. If you’re afflicted with something that someone else has had, then there is absolutely the chance that you can get some helpful advice. At the very least, if none of that works, you can then tell your doctor what you tried to narrow things down. After all, an important step in diagnosing is to match symptoms with the underlying condition. Provided that the advice isn’t harmful, it doesn’t hurt to try and may save you time and money.
He’s gonna kill 'em with the bass.
Turn the bottle 90 degrees?
It made sense to me when I could take advantage of a tax credit for EVs in 2017. Now that car companies/dealerships simply jack up prices to eat that discount, it doesn’t make sense even in that case.
Zero.

It’s not a better situation.
Meanwhile the US has successfully made people forget about the revelations that Edward Snowden made.
I wonder if it’s possible to get a post about technology coming out of China without a “hurr durr they r spy!!1” comment. I don’t see the same every time there’s an article on a new Intel processor, for example.
I’ve heard people say “data is the new oil” and there’s some flaws in that thinking, but what I find apt, and what was probably not taken into account when that idea was thought up, is that like oil, it’s being drilled, refined, and combusted, polluting the environment. Whether this is AI-generated or just poorly-written slop by a human for the purpose of generating “content” to make money off some dumb algorithm, it’s polluting the environment and making it harder to get a proper answer.
Billionaires might as well be considered foreign agents. They’re parasites who are doing a lot more damage to the country than any actual foreign agent has ever managed.
You mean like how rideshare apps told their users to vote in specific ways on specific ballot proposals? No talk about banning those apps.
I thought there was a site that let at most x number of people play games where x is the number of physical copies the site creator had on hand for that game. The industry doesn’t like this either, but the industry can go fuck itself. They’ve already practically taken away the public domain by making the period for copyright expiration too damn long.
What’s wrong, America, can’t take the competition?
Being the guy who signed the bill that threatens the existence of a platform that is super popular with young people whose vote he desperately needs during an election year. Masterful gambit, sir!
How much of an overlap is there between milk, cheese, and beef? They’re all coming from cows, but are they being calculated separately here? There are also gelatin and leather and other non-food products that come from cows. If there is a way to reduce that methane output, then it would be a lot more reasonable and it seems possible since it’s impacted greatly by diet.
