Personally I’d go with an electric bike since it needs significantly less time to charge given the same number of solar cells.

8·20 days agoPeople abroad trusting America perhaps? America seems like it’s really destroyed its reputation lately. Or could be referring to the decay of rule of law with ICE and the like, will the public ever trust the government again?

11·23 days agoBut even if it’s small, isn’t it an accurate representation of what people as a whole are talking about?
Besides, I know my friends in real life and they won’t shut up about it so it’s not just confined to Lemmy.

125·1 month agoI do feel like the S bends are a bit tight, seems like it would make it hard to keep a consistent speed if you have to slow down for every intersection. Specifically thinking of e-cargo trikes and trailers that can’t lean into corners like a regular bike can, and take longer to get up to speed.

politics @lemmy.world•House Speaker welcomes Trump call to ‘take over’ elections, claims Dem wins appear ‘fraudulent’English
28·1 month agoBut it will end in 2029 since Trump isn’t allowed to have a third term, so someone else will have to run and based off the flip flopping, the winner will probably be a democrat.
123 lb isn’t very heavy at all!
Am I the only one who doesn’t replace light bulbs based on color temperature? I usually keep around whatever is already in the rental unit/whatever spares the last tenants left around, because I usually move every year anyway.
In the rare chance I get a choice, I usually choose daylight though.

3·2 months agoWell Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 has weird distorted music. Apparently it’s due to .wma files and possible to convert them to MP3 (or use some weird fan patch of Proton) but that sounds like a lot of effort for something I was hoping would just work out of the box.

How do you have a football site and NOT list the NFL or college teams as an option? I do t recognize any of the leagues on that list.

11·2 months agoI hate the idea of “blocking” a user or community, to me I hear “block” and imagine a user who harasses me or posts actual spam, whereas someone who comments politics a lot might also comment non-political stuff I’d like to see, or if an event is big enough I could see cross posts in more niche communities. I wish there was a “show me less of this on the front page” option.

Isn’t that what Nebula/CuriosityStream is? All my favorite YouTubers promote it, though the caveat is you have to pay but I think the money actually goes to the creators (and they put bonus content on it like a patreon).
