I agree, I’m used to the opposite now but “pulling on the content” like you do with smart phones makes more sense.

Just tried it, it can go in and out without touching because I have a big mouth.
Security code / 3D secure is not mandatory. It’s in theory enough to make a purchase but will be flagged for potentially fraud very often.

A Boring Dystopia@lemmy.world•Study reveals halving human population gradually could help Earth
3·2 days agoPopulation reduction is mostly an economic problem that gets really wacky because of the dependency ratio. Right now we’re already having issues with equal amount per age group but if elderly start becoming disproportionately large group it’ll be hard to support them.
Retirement savings are now more important than ever.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•How to overcome the temptation to social media?
1·10 days agoI quit social media, now I only have Lemmy left. The biggest reason I stuck with it is that my self esteem improved a lot and FOMO stopped being a thing for me.
I’m thinking of switching to 100% intentional consumption right now. YouTube subscribe feed only, Jellyfin and whatnot.

Technically SAM systems are purely for defence but to get a complete set to defend you need a lot more than just anti-air.
Defence deterrent is based a lot on potential counter attack so if you don’t have a counter attack potential it’s kinda safe to attack you. Nuclear bombs are an example of this, they are the most aggressive and destructive which makes them very effective for deterrence.
One thing Ukraine has shown is that fortifications are super important which are purely defensive. But to guard a long defensive line without a massive standing army you need a crapton of drones which can be use both offensive and defensive.

To be fair, if your video editor doesn’t support webp in 2026 it has to at least suck a little bit.
Is this a very niche copypasta that I’m unaware of?
Obviously be mad at whoever responded to a request without accept webp in it with a webp or didn’t provide an alternative. Nothing wrong with supporting webp with a fallback
