This sounds awesome.
This sounds awesome.
This is helpful, I haven’t interacted with microblogs since moving to your instance. Thanks!
I have had good luck with a vanity that has three doors, each a mirror. Hand motions are in reverse, it’s weird haha. I haven’t benefited from this for a long time, but it got me started. I do, however, cut a mole on the back of my neck sometimes…
For sure! I have rented from small landlords who were great and like family and responsive to problems. Be those people if you are a landlord.
Most folks who look at this (economic philosophers?) don’t believe that regular working folks are part of the problem. Having a 401k or even working in an oil field isn’t necessarily being part of the problem. Being an employee of Walmart doesn’t mean someone is objectively a capitalist, they just want to eat and generally survive. I avoid driving, but do, and don’t lose sleep over it.
As a government employee, I have rented from the government (USA) many times over the years. It is a pretty good deal usually. It includes utilities almost always. Sometimes the house is really bad but usually they are ok, and the price per month (they do it by day) is pretty good.
Ideally you can change periodically. But for me, the gloves are better than the alternative! I use hand treatment after work. I have (mild) eczema but don’t generally suffer. You gotta find what works for you!
Wow, thanks for sharing that! So much for my thought… It makes yours more poignant though. Perhaps it is just a matter of obsession? Are the folks who obsess over firearms different than the folks who obsess over knives?
I suspect it is because knives are not included in the second amendment of the constitution. That is a pretty easy argument for people to use against gun regulation (whether or fair or not), but there is no such thing for knives.
As with others, a couple of childhood telephone numbers, and 6 times 8, 48; 8 times, 8 Chevalier, helped me with multiplication tables. For some reason 🙃
I have definitely seen an uptick in these over the last two weeks. Multiple times a day, some calls, too. I was involved in some activism 10-15 years ago so I accept it (still baloney tho). It has started on my work phone as well…
I understand the pushback against names like this, and concern for kids receiving these names, but I think it is misdirected. Ya, sure, maybe sometimes the name is literally made up, or in other cases has multiple variations on a theme, but anyone with immigration in their ancestry can tell you that naming conventions do not always move well to other countries. In the USA, we have multiple spellings for names like Muhammed and Dermitt because of this. I don’t see why this is a big deal and think it potentially enriches culture.
You know, now that you mention it, I have had some kind of gelatinous fish preparation, and it was pretty good! I didn’t eat it cold, but I do eat cold fish. I’m not sure about braised beef ( very likely) and I have had beef stew if that counts?
Thanks! I was a little nervous at the thought of beef jello but I’ll try the Knox brand first. Two pounds sounds like a lot but what do I know? I’m gonna try coconut 😋
Wow your second paragraph may have just solved my jello resistance, thanks! You almost lost me at fish and beef tho 😅
I’m about middle age and don’t believe I have ever made it, even as a child. I have had it, and would consider eating more if it wasn’t available in such atrocious colors with false flavorings.
It is currently 85*F in my house and something like jello sounds nice right now as I contemplate what I will cook for dinner haha.
I believe this poster has a history of spamming under names similar to this current one, be aware.
This is pretty cool.
It’s still too early to declare any of these farm transitions a resounding success
I really hope time shows them to be a success, and that it isn’t a lot of time.
There are lot of federal jobs that are very lenient on dress. Not public facing? Sometimes lot of options! Public facing? Might have to wear a uniform but the ability to have visible tattoos and piercings is pretty high. Also options for getting into the public sector without a college degree.
