      edit: if I understand what you’re commenting on correctly, alice needed to make a post (like this one). then you shouold be able to make alice mod somehow, I think it’s up near the top of the post in the arrow drop down menu

            I don’t know why you don’t see the option, I have it.

            Maybe they did change it, but why wouldn’t mods be able to make other mods? weird

              idk I am curious though if you figure out what happened… I searched “how to make a mod lemmy” and a lemmyworld thread came up and some people also mentioned possibly doing it through a comment rather than the post (the three dots)

                I might do a bit of testing later. We’re running an unmodified version of Lemmy so it’s likely that they just moved shit around, or maybe it’s a bug.
