This is 100% restaurant work. No one gives a shit how long your last shift was, how good your knife skills are, or what table stiffed you. The person that brought the big ass bag of peanut m&Ms is the hero of the night.

That’s the one thing that bothers me about my workplace. There’s some insane peer preassure to bring treats. So much so, that bosses immediately advice new hires to bring treats and mail everyone about it. People are getting fat. At least almost everyone can work from home, but we still see the mails that there are treats from ppl who went to the office, sometimes with photos and all.
Last year we had so much leftover ice cream in the freezer, some of it went bad while ppl struggled to find space for their lunch meal preps.
This is getting out of hand.
My wife will sometimes get me little treats and it is the freakin best.
