The Loch Ness Monster. It would just be cool to have a living dinosaur in a lake in the world.
Dinosaurs will always be fascinating to me. The fact that reptiles used to rule the world and only fell due to the Earth’s tectonic plates shifting and get hit by an asteroid simultaneously is crazy.
It is wild to imagine how much different the world looked back then.
The time of giant insects that precedes them is also crazy.
The Kraken because it’s awesome, but also potentially incredibly intelligent. Octopus’ are bizarrely intelligent and get smarter with size.
By far, the most probable cryptid. Its believed colossal squid used to hunt closer to the surface before the abundance of ships, so the idea that sailors either exaggerated the size of the squids or encountered a larger species is so possible.
I hope so, I like to think somewhere in the ocean depths there is a gigantic squid that is incredibly intelligent
