      Yeah I don’t get it either but this what I get for only studying bird law instead of birdology.

      I mean, they could carry the food to their young, carry their young to the food, regurgitate like most birds, there really isn’t another way to…

        New World vultures also urinate straight down their legs; the uric acid kills bacteria accumulated from walking through carcasses, and also acts as evaporative cooling.

    Do vultures do something other than what other birds do? Because most birds regurgitate food for the chicks to eat.

      I think you’re right that they regurgitate food for their young like most birds. A unique puke related vulture fact is that they projectile vomit at predators as a deterrent and means of dropping weight to flee after they’ve been gorging on a carcass.
