Seriously? You dumb fucks defederate and Ban everyone you don’t agree with. Why the fuck should we (hypothetical speaking) federate with you?

No. You don’t get to have a chance to talk shit and spread a bad name. You either like us and join, don’t like us and don’t join, or it didn’t work out and you delete your fucking account.

Yall only want things your way. We fucking know that so of what benefit is it to us, to federate with your sorry asses?

I’m fucking so happy you don’t get to sample us for free. And try to boss us around so you can feel like somebody because your life sucks dick.

You ain’t cool if you ain’t here. And only cool peeps are invited.

You exe yourself out with your fucking ideology and outrage porn. No thank you, we’re not interested :D

Go circle jerk

I thought I was going crazy for a second thank you. I find it absolutely fucking hilarious, that they are trying to frame it as ‘protected’ instances.

In a sense, it is true in the example of one particular lemmy instance.

They wanted a safe space. LITERALLY so they defederated most instances. If not all of them if I’m not mistaken.

But in my view, you’re first saying that if we don’t share we should not use federated platforms at all.

But then when we do share they cause drama, brigade, defame, ban and call for defederation.

The fediverse is now working how they’ve designed it.

But somehow we are in the wrong for not connecting to them when they will do all of what I just mentioned if we did what they asked and federated.

What they want to do, is police everything. They don’t like the fact that we can electively isolate from them and only invite people who will actually fit in here.

The nerve dude. You know sometimes this shit really pisses me off which is dumb.

I think imma go do something else for 20 minutes. Lol jeeze laweez

I’m pretty sure these people think blocking actually silences other instance instead of just hiding responses from them. I don’t think they understand that everyone can still see their posts.

The fediverse is the absolute worse place you can go for safety or privacy. The fact that an instance admin can read your DMs should be enough to put anyone who cares about privacy off the platform.

Honestly these people should just log off the internet completely and get a life.

It’s weird because for you and me and others, we know this. It’s weird to think that they don’t.

I’ve seen some of their conversations about privacy. What’s crazy is there are the obvious "if you don’t like your stuff being read, don’t ever post on the internet " which are obviously, admins. I mean, cmon.

And there are others who are very concerned about it.

What kinda cracks me up. Is the safety you get from being DDOSd and other internet attacks ALONG WITH PRIVACY.

ALL OF THAT COMES FROM CENTRALIZED SOCIAL MEDIA

You really think some jack offs in their basement give a fuck about your privacy? NO. Because they don’t legally have to.

Pardon my ignorance, but big tech on the other hand has to

Idc what anyone says, if there were something like NOSTR but centralized? And they didn’t fucking ban everyone who thinks differently?

        I’d use it.

Fediverse is a trick in most cases in my opinion for mentally ill people to feel some sense of power by snooping on other people’s shit.

        I agree with you

Seeing how some of those admins on there act I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised if they went through your DMs if you pissed them off.

I mean of course they would man I’m pretty sure they just do that on the regular anyways they there’s an option in Lemmy where admins can edit and change direct messages posts and comments from their users on their instance I mean just Google it. Or you can see the s*** they say in The Matrix chat which is f****** Wild. it’s like all they Care about
