I’ve only ever been attracted to nerds. They’re the only type of men I’ve ever been attracted to. I don’t fully know why, but the morbidly obese variety just melt my heart. They are so adorable.

When I mean nerd, I mean someone who looks and acts the stereotype. No facial hear (beards/facial hair is a turn off for me), plaid or other clothing associated with nerds, a nerdy hairstyle, glasses, etc. It’s so cute when they go on and on about something they’re so passionate about like action figures, science, and comic books.

My boyfriend matches that description and I love him more than anything else in the world. He’s 5"11 and 350 pounds. His chubby cheeks are so cute. He’s so gentle, kind and sweet, and very intelligent. I love to cuddle him, he’s like a giant teddy bear of a pillow and the hugs are amazing. So so soft and warm. His obesity is genetic and he doesn’t have any health problems from it, his thyroid, blood pressure, cholesterol, blood sugar etc are all normal.

I mean, generally good for you. Couldn’t disagree more, so have an upvote.

    However:

He’s 5"11 and 350 pounds. […] His obesity is genetic and he doesn’t have any health problems from it

I call bullshit on that. That’s a BMI of almost 50 at this point just walking will ruining your joints because of how much weight you put on them. There is a reason it’s called “morbidly obese”. There is no way you can remain otherwise healthy at this weight for more then a couple of years.

Give him a few years, the health problems are on their way. I don’t know how old you and your boyfriend are but I’d say you can expect things that start going wrong around his mid to late 30’s.

You can post all the articles you want about it but the truth is that he’s going to have serious joint issues, high blood pressure, and possibly type 2 diabetes by the time he’s 40. I just noticed that you just created this profile a few days ago and this is the only post so at this point I’m assuming there is no “boyfriend” and this is all just rage bait, so I’m not going to bother arguing the point any further. Saying a 5’ 11" 350lb man is “healthy” is just pure fiction though lol

Weird how nobody had “genetic obesity” during the time food was more scarce and the daily caloric intake was half of today’s.

160 kg at 180cm would have this man touring as “The world’s fattest man” 100 years ago.

    Something to think about.

All this health stuff aside, I’m happy that you found someone to love and that you’re happy.

I asked Gov Chris Christie’s opinion on your post, here’s what he said
