Win the lotto for me and a buddy then toss some into investments and properties to sell/rent at a discounted rate following 2019 in comparison to those who inflated theirs. Instead of 2k/m I’ll go $1,500 as long as it’s still above the profit line I don’t need hoards of wealth from it I kinda enjoy working.

Also I’d probably just dump a bunch of money into my kids name to let it start building interest for them.

Up until last Saturday I thought it was an old person’s thing I wouldn’t care much for.

Here I sit watching and feeding my flock of Grey catbirds and enjoying sounds of the cardinals and chick-a-dees. It’s nice.

It’s not something for me now that I’m older but I use to love putting ketchup on mashed potatoes and mac and cheese. I know mac and cheese with it is somewhat common.

Also potatoes on a hamburger is really good. If you do a cheese burger it might take some trial and error on getting the right cheese. I myself like fresh shredded American. Don’t use cheap ingredients though! This is the 1 thing I wouldn’t cheap out on.

It’s really dependable on the person. Like how some guys can pull off a hat and others can’t. Everything from physical characteristics to confidence and maturity effect that. If you like how you look that’s all that matters. Rock the pendant and give someone a reason to see the better view 😉

Funny enough most have a mic they just don’t talk. Personally if it matters that much you’re joining the wrong matches. I’ve played loads of games where nobody spoke and we won most of the time. A good team will do fine with or without a mic

Genuinely curious, is there any major tech companies that haven’t done this? Our info is plastered everywhere nowadays due to this type of crap.

I have a good one. Someone I work with once recorded his boss saying “if I cold fire you I would” later on down the line that someone became his boss and set his ringtone as that part of the conversation. There’s nothing he can say to HR without getting himself in much worse trouble. Funny enough the dickhead one is my boss but the funny one is closer to the team.

If and of, in and on, so and no, these words keep getting corrected for eachother when it shouldn’t. I’ve tried resetting auto correct to make sure I didn’t teach it to do that.

Honestly, lemmy isn’t that welcoming. Read through comments and you’ll notice most of them are kinda snarky and rude. Look at no stupid questions (idk the name of “subreddits”) you ask a serious questions and almost none of them are on topic just people giving you shit for asking. If you have tech problems it’s “install linux,degoogle,stay away from that brand” for someone new reading through them they’ll probably leave because of the toxic community.

There’s a big difference though. Making people yell is not the same as an ad being shown similar to a screen saver. Hard to believe but most people will just not care and those who do won’t care enough to do much about it. There’s a reason ads have become to main stream and normal they’re yielding results the companies want.

A great example of how the mass majority of people not caring is look at the reaction to password sharing. Sure many people made a stink yet every single on of the platforms saw growth.

I’d laugh and walk away shaking my head. It’s a kinda hard to explain but it’s them being in that situation thing. If my brother or sister did I’d be fine not really react as it’s not a big deal.

Honestly I think a big part of people looking at headlines and pictures is closely related to people’s attention span. Why read many words when less is better. Those same people can’t hold conversations for more than a minute or two on the subject then it spirals into speculations which is where the misinformation starts to take place. Society is bombarded with so much information hour by hour people don’t want to miss anything so they skim through an immense amount of partial information. It’s wild and I’m guilty of it myself so I’m in no place to speak ill of anyone.

I plan to buy it just don’t have the money and I don’t like any of the other apps. I’m not gonna breath down the neck of the one guy working on this in his free time. He does a lot of work in the background and I’m actually fine dealing with the ads this specfic set of ads just makes using the app very uncomfortable to look at.

A lot of people act entitled to others free time and having on demand responses it’s exhausting for anyone trying to do anything when people slam on them for not relaying messages of every little thing they’re doing.

No can do. I don’t care for any apps besides sync. Been using it since day one for reddit. Everything else feels weird.
