As well as the other suggestions, was discussing this with someone just yesterday and they suggested filling the port with PVA glue (like the stuff used at school, not super glue or epoxy!) and a bit of thread, then pulling it out with all the crud once it’s set.
No idea how effective it is personally, when I got my current phone I got some plastic usb c port covers and that stays in place whenever I’m not charging, so far it’s done the job.
Because they shit themselves inside out and were no longer full of it?

Whatever performance gains the ($300-350) 5060 GPU has (and I don’t doubt they’ll be notable) will be choked off by an 8gb framebuffer. They might do a 16gb clamshell like they did with the 4060ti but like you said, where does that leave the 12gb 70 card?

Same, but Makita. My parents had a handheld Dyson, and it was a pain at times because they had to charge it when it died, or you found no one had charged it at the worst times. Because I always have a spare Makita battery it’s just a case of swapping them over and sticking the dead on on the charger while you continue vacing
Battery powered handheld vacuum cleaner. Though I’d only use it for bits and bobs and still use the big Dyson for most of the cleaning, but the hand vac gets used a lot more. Also, a spot cleaner for carpets/upholstery. I did expect it to be useful, and it means we no longer periodically hire a rug doctor, but i hadn’t appreciated how useful a wet vac is for spills, not to mention the time the dishwasher drain pump failed and I didn’t have to mess around bailing it out.
My favourite bible passage is the one where Moses goes to see Pharo, and tells him that the Jews are trying to form a union.
So, if someone were to crash the moon into the earth to stop it escaping, as many as 1/12 of the population could experience a reduced quality of life?
Might need to consider not doing that I suppose.
Yawn, call me when I can buy diarrhea pre-soaked pants with matching shoes.
I’m in the UK, the supermarket is less than 10 minutes away by car, but it seems impossible to spend less than an hour in there shopping for a family of 4. There’s a smaller shop in walking distance, but everything costs more there and it’s not economical for a weeks worth (not to mention the more limited range).
My solution is to pay the big store to pick it for me, then I just collect it. Cheaper than delivery, they’re the ones sat waiting for me and if there’s a sub I don’t like or something I forgot, it’s just a quick visit, not an odyssey.
Still use the local but just for top ups if needed
I updated mine a couple of weeks ago. I was actually really anxious as It went through the process, but it worked fine, at first…
Then I found out Microsoft considered it a new computer and deactivated windows. (And that’s when I found out they deleted upgrade licences from windows 7 & 8 back in September)

And the underlying animal is still there too. It’s fully in control at birth, and gets drowned out as we mature (for some people, less than others).
Small children are little more than animals, which is why they’re so unreasonable.
It’s my belief that the reason the written word or things like clocks are usually unreadable in dreams, is because the animal is both illiterate and innumerate. Dreams are the animals understanding of our waking experience. It knows these patterns are important and how they relate to other things, but it has no fucking idea what any of it actually means.
