But I recorded the show as a test because I was thinking man there seems to be a lot of commercials. I checked the time before I started the show. Then I watched the show and fast forwarded through the commercials. Then I checked the time after the show.
That’s how I figured out how out the length of the actual show. They played a little bit of show then a block of commercials.

And I’m sorry I just disagree. A few ads is one thing. Basically half the show is just stupid. I won’t watch that many commercials. I’ll record the show
Ads weren’t bad when it was like a minute with of commercials. Now it can be 7 minutes at a time. The worst was when I was watching Star Trek Voyager, a one hour show was actually 27 minutes of ads. Not a joke. 27 minutes of ads and 33 minutes of show. That was what broke me. I now record everything and watch it later and fast forward through the commercials.
I bought a tivo have had a couple through the years. They (spectrum and the tv station) can’t control what I fast forward through.

This is why I record everything. Then watch it later and fast forward through the commercials. Most times i just hit the commercial skip button. I can turn a 1 hour tv show into 40 minutes or less. Football games are crazy the amount of time you can save.
A little practice and you start a football game time delayed and fast forward through the commercials and still end the game with in minutes of when the game actually ends.
I once got it with in about five minutes of the ending of the game.
Football, baseball or any game will work the same way.
He’ll issue the order and the tv station will take it to court and the court will say this falls under freedom of speech.
Also it isn’t like it’s a one day deal.
Each side will ask for continouance for one thing or the other and it will be there for years in the courts. By the time it gets anywhere trump won’t even be in office.
What it costs to keep it in court and the delays compared to the free advertising of Trump even trying. Think about what will happen. Tons of people will watch Stewart just as a way to protest. More people watching equals more money. The court cost is way less. The tv station will count it as a cost of doing business and keep him on the air.
Trump may try. But he will fail on this one.
