Sounds like a see a doctor thing to me.

I’d prefer they talk about problems, not the entire voting population. I’m even open to “the Democrats need to nominate a better candidate” or “MAGA is garbage” but not “Americans are X”.
I don’t mind it but I draw a line at criticism of the entire electorate. Many of us know that things are broken and we’d fix it if we could.
Edit: clarity. The entire electorate
So much freedom that it hurts.
Dirt cheap genetic sequencing and MRNA vaccines will be available to cure various types of cancer.
Do you have ADHD? I’ve read that people with ADHD can hyperfocus on new activities and easily get bored when things are no longer new. AuHD can also happen where there is a touch of autism along with it that can also make social stuff hard. Whatever it is, no one here is your doctor, and you should probably see if your doctor would refer you to a therapist or psychiatrist.
I’m not sure I would vote for them but I was curious as to who in the Republican party opposes him and found this:
As long as that list is, it’s not long enough.
Perhaps, but I’d respect him more if he grew a backbone and spoke out against Trump.
Lately it feels like the bots have found Lemmy
If you want that sensory deprivation feeling, you have to control the air temperature as well and keep it in the dark, and it’s larger than a big tub. There is a company that makes a sensory deprivation float tent that will sell you all of the parts and salt. I looked into it a bit after enjoying my local float place. Maintaining the filters, the pH and dealing with the hundreds of pounds of salt seems like more trouble than it’s worth.
The float place near me uses something like 1200 pounds of Epsom salt in a tank that is maybe twice the volume of my bathtub. Then they also regulate the temperature within the tank, both air and water, to be close to normal skin temperature. I’m not sure it’s practical.
How do you get banned?
A Snackmaster sandwich.
To play devil’s advocate for a moment, is it really a free market if we are incentivizing one technology over another?
No, sorry, eating meat is not the same as murder, it’s just nature.
I’m not a fan of factory farms either, but mostly for the antibiotics. The animals do suffer and people who can afford it should probably buy more certified “free range” options, but I’m not about to shame people for their dietary choices or incomes.
Interesting take. I definitely see it more with the MAGA crowd. Their idea of it is so absurd too. It’s always some half-witted meme where they take a photo of the most frail person they can find and label them a vegan. It’s silly, because there are plenty of jacked vegans out there, and there are also frail omnivores.
I understand people’s perspectives when it comes to the “meat is murder” vegans but otherwise it’s just a diet. I personally switched to eating meat just once a week late last year and I eat vegan most other days. I feel great, but I don’t make it anyone else’s problem.
That’s how The Herald rolls, it has long been the most sensationalistic Boston newspaper.
I’m always impressed that they stayed still long enough to get their picture taken.
