I read a lot. I’m working on the latest Hell Mode, and I’ve been pounding through Enough with This Slow Life! I Was Reincarnated as a High Elf and Now I’m Bored which has been a lot of fun.

One of my new years resolutions has been to mix in “important” books in with the “fun” books, so I read all 10 books of Plato’s Republic, and I intend to go through Thucydides history of the polypenesian war so I can move on to Xenophon’s works (the first of which picks up from the last words of the former work which ends half way through a sentence)

Going through Tom Sawyer with my little guy, I’m torn as to whether for the next book I should keep reading Mark Twain which is fun or if I should switch to the book on chinese philosophy.

After the odd language of Beowulf and the uncomfortable stories of notes from the underground, Tom Sawyer is so much fun to read. I chose it because I needed a breath of fresh air.

I’ve been going through Cormac McCarthy’s books lately. Started off with The Road then No Country for Old Men. He’s got an interesting style.

Currently reading Coming Up for Air by George Orwell. I wanted to check out some of his less famous books, they don’t disappoint.
