Answering the title: one thing can’t be denied, and it’s that production quality has been in a steady decrease from the 80s onwards. If you can look past that, there are some current really good music groups.
Now onto the body of the message: I am a big prog rock fan, but I can’t stand Pink Floyd. My dad can’t either, we never ever spoke about that but found ourselves agreeing on it when I turned 20. It seems like there is a large gap in quality to the likes of Alan Parsons, ELO, Genesis, Yes and whatnot.
That looks good, but I’ve not seen much about replacing the screen with one ready for using a Stylus and taking notes at class, do they not sell those? I don’t want to be using a tablet plus a laptop for the rest of my life!

I’d also like to add to you guys’ comments that Strawberry supports continuous playback but, last time I checked, Elisa did not. I do not know about you, but that’s a huge deal breaker for me. Hopefully Amarok, being a bit more involved in the technical side, can step up and provide us with a Plasma 6-worthy music player.
