My bad. I didn’t know the rules. Now that I see it, it seems pretty explanatory. I had a dumb moment

Fuck that lol. Curse all you want, but curse to people. Not at them
I would argue that it’s not ok due to the context of the word and self-deprication creates negative feedback loops
Oh yeah I’m aware. I’m not worried about it. I wouldn’t have even figured it out if a couple of people didn’t try to taunt me.
You’re absolutely right. Ultimately we need to have a good talk about it
I get what you’re saying, and I’ve cooled off. You’re right.

She didn’t explicitly ask me to make food, but she had told me that sometimes her coworkers don’t have lunch. Making meals from scratch costs pennies to the dollar, and I’ve heard the complaint enough to adjust my cooking standard to cook for 5 people. I know my wife cares about these people, so I care about these people, and I WILL not have someone go hungry, so if you if I get a hint otherwise, you’re getting a meal. However, I don’t think my wife has the same logic as I do. I hate wasting food, and I won’t do it if I can help it, so when she leaves the leftovers that are meant to feed all of her coworkers, it upsets me
I’m sorry. This was kind of a venting session. We’re gonna have a good talk about it tonight. I get what you’re saying and I appreciate you, but this talk is definitely happening
We talking about the verb or the noun? I also have been look at the word “shut” too long and now it looks weird

Not necessarily whatever you want because you have to follow DOT standards, but utility locating is a good one. The standard is steel toe, reflective vest, and in some cases, a hard hat. Other than that, you’re good unless the company mandates something different. You can also get good money, experience, and networking in that field. Since you’re such a young person, and if you have a good personal drive, you’d greatly excel at it because it is a relatively physical job
It’s tribalism. We’re unfortunately all guilty of it in one way or another and it has become more serious with the increase of social media use
I like this explanation in particular: https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/beyond-school-walls/202304/tribalism-in-the-age-of-social-media
Edit: to add, I am suspecting that I’m still getting brigaded by a group I pissed off last week. It really doesn’t bother me if they are doing that, but there are people that take their internet points more serious than I do so there are definitely people in the fediverse that will do that to you
Just saw this comment. Yes it was silly, and in no way meant to be taken literal. Looking at the history of those states that were under the USSR, putin is trying to keep control of them
I see it as the neonazi movement in the US in late 90s and early 2000s. They want to be edgy, but don’t have a significant structure to actually do anything important. Around 2006 I ended up stealing a knife from a neonazi that came in to the restaurant that I worked at. It was a Mexican restaurant btw lol
Insane!? You’re talking about Insane right?
