There are several problems here. One being you cannot train every nurse or everyone self-adminestering the medicin to be a professional in it. Which was the hidden assumption made in the course. So “test it exactly like that” does not really work.

In my ethics course during the phd program, I was told this was actually a good thing. Their example was pharma companies know how to use their drugs better so they get better results, more true results. If that was true, it’s unfortunate it’s not the pharma company that also handles treatments then. That course also said that software patents does not exist as a concept.

I waited through meamo, meego, and tizen hoping for it to take off. Went with Firefox OS and Ubuntu touch instead, which had very little to offer. Not too long ago I felt I had to give up and go with android, and dream of a world where nokia would have taken the meamo/meego/tizen path instead.

I see the alt name for it is something like “bandariska borgarestriden”? Does it mean “borgare” as like in “citizen”, " medborgare". Is that the name for a civil war in islandic? And bandarisk relates to a banner/flag?

“Each cased was matched…” what does this sentence mean? It sounds like in their data set 1 in 6 got the surgical treatment, does that mean it is that likely to get it?

Italians are sterotypically thought of as having a lot of hand gestures, and the study seems to confirm it. Are Swedes also typically more likely to use hand gestures to others? The article says the Italians seem to have about twice as frequent hand gestures.

Just a general question I have to how influenced Swedish culture is by Italian. I think that it was quite common with Italian immigrants in Sweden after ww2, and it seems like Swedish has some words directly borrowed from Italian: fattura/faktura, provare/prova. Maybe also hand gestures are influenced?
