“Sum up the previously described situation from the perspective of someone like Robin Williams’ character in Good Will Hunting when he explains what life is really like to Will.”
Buy bitcoin, then eth when it’s released, then solana when it’s released. Sell at the top and start a cat sanctuary.

Questioning science in that you are questioning the idea of taking observations and testing hypothesis? Then no.
U.S. wouldn’t be taking over… it could be a New Zealand company for all the u.s. cares.
The u.s. still wouldn’t control the algorithm even if bytedance sold because they are not required to sell to a u.s. company. As long as the new company isn’t controlled by the ccp(or probably also russ, n Korea, iran) the u.s. doesn’t care who owns it.
They are free to sell to non American companies just fine as long as the new company is not ultimately controlled by the Chinese government.
Non-sensationalized summary from the article:
Although Section 702 authorizes electronic surveillance of non-US people overseas, the official summary of the reauthorization bill notes that "information about US persons may incidentally be acquired by this type of surveillance and subsequently searched or ‘queried’ under certain circumstances.”
The reauthorization bill imposes some new limits on data collection. For example, FBI personnel must obtain prior approval from an FBI supervisor or attorney before making queries about US people. But this provision has an exception allowing such queries without prior approval if “the query could assist in mitigating or eliminating a threat to life or serious bodily harm.”
There are also some new limits on queries involving elected US officials, political candidates, political organizations, media organizations, journalists, and religious groups. There is a prohibition on “the involvement of political appointees in the approval process for such politically sensitive query requests,” and a requirement that the FBI director "establish consequences for noncompliant querying of US person terms, including zero tolerance for willful misconduct.”
Sheesh I feel SLAMMED
At least it didn’t say “game-changer”… the worst of them all.
This has been the way for all life ever to exist on Earth.
If there are suddenly far fewer getting a paycheck there is still voting. I wonder what droves of the unemployed will vote for?
Large existing corporations will expand the industries they are involved in and take advantage of the ease of entry with AI. The have plenty of capital and won’t sit on their hands when golden opportunities are a few purchases away.
So you are just going to live forever?
When it’s cheaper to make the products because you don’t have to pay anyone, people will look at that manufacturer and think… wow I can start a business like that and make an easy profit? Competition will drive down prices.
Imo when you make an industry easier for the managers/ceos using ai and have fewer workers, it will also be easier for people to create competition in that industry… driving down prices.
Probably just taking about the 4th spacial dimension
