My father always used to say:
“Last thing I remember, I was 18 years old, standing on a streetcorner with my friends. This morning I woke up with a wife, 3 kids and a mortgage.”
And you may tell yourself, “This is not my beautiful house.”
And you may tell yourself, “This is not my beautiful wife.”
Letting the days go by!
The modem version of that is rent. Just as good but at the end of the day no further value added to ones portfolio!
That’s nothing, I went from 19 to 45 in the same amount of time. sad knees noises
Like we’ll be able to afford it…
The knee pain is too real and I’m only halfway there
+1 40+ knee pain
I still thought of myself as essentially 22 yo into my 30s.
I was 19 for 10 years.
I have been in my mid twenties for almost 10 years now.
That ends suddenly and then 40 is around the corner. Life is actually short. No complaints though. The older I get the better I get at living.
I’ve become convinced that every year of COVID causes us to age at 2x.
I think every year working in healthcare aged me 5 years -.-
5 years from 30 to 50…
lol wait until 40something.
Can relate. 2016 was 1,905,216 years ago. August 1 was 10,573 years ago.
