For starters, blaming a lot of our woes on illegal immigrants when there’s no indication they significantly contribute to crime. I say significantly because it’s not zero but as a demographic they’re very law abiding. Not to mention unemployment is incredibly low (considered to be “full employment”) so whatever jobs they “stole” Americans apparently found another one.

Someone farting on a candle after eating eggs, cabbage and bread through the whole day.

Sorry, not the sort of gas lighting that you wanted, right?

It seem like all of America, left and right, has fallen for the myth of working class prosperity during the post war boom. You’ve heard the mantra: a single earner could afford a house, car, and college for a family of four. This was never true for the majority of Americans. And for those few who did enjoy this lifestyle, it was achieved not by the owners sharing more of the wealth, but by excluding women and PoC from mainstream economic life.

Furthermore, most of this prosperity from housing, transportation, and education was made possible through government largess. Examples include the Interstate highway system and the GI bill. And all these government loans, grants, and scholarships were exclusive to real citizens: white men. Sometimes this was explicit in the law, sometimes it was enforced through sneaky regulations like ‘red lining’. Even when the law included minorities, there were still barriers for PoC and women to collect what they were entitled to. These barriers ranged from Kafkaesque bureaucracy to murderous terrorism.

My whole life tbh, I was treated horrible and everyone just basically gaslit me into believing I Just Don’t Like random things especially schoolwork and cleaning.

Yeah bitch I really Don’t Like schoolwork so much I do homework on the way home. I’m so eager to do something I Don’t Like™™™™™. Yeah I Don’t Like cleaning either, that’s why I do chores as early as possible so they’re done because I don’t like cleaning.

Surely it’s not because I was an overworked kid who was so drained I couldn’t focus on homework at home where Happy Happy Family antagonize me and bully me. Surely I don’t clean as soon as possible because if I don’t do it now I won’t have time to do it later and it’ll pile up for next week. And not because I would rather fucking relax on days off instead of keeping myself awake to do chores at the very end of the day when I’m ready to just sleep. Fuck childhood

It’s a sequel to a previous question. I’ve been watching people bombard someone I met with claims that she must be a narcissist/schizophrenic/whatever based on trivial disagreements and them thinking she thinks she’s always right (despite the people saying that being in a very specific demographic), and in turn other people saying she comes off as thinking she’s always right as an immune response to people gaslighting her in the first place. She posted a few demonstration videos on Tiktok which one of the supposed gaslighters then decided to infringe the copyright on and post on YT saying it makes them look good (ironically the “gaslighter” is coordinated with another infamous guy who has pushed the same agenda). And here I am trying to find a way to ask “wtf is this” but can’t because the AITA groups either don’t allow people saying things on others’ behalf or don’t allow the video format. At this moment there’s a new video from her that hasn’t been deleted yet (she deletes the ones that are copied) but which is inevitably going to be deleted when the other guy replicates it.
