The way apps work on android is, they are compartmentalized, if you disable a system app like this, the worst that will happen is some things may get wonky, if you enable it, it will start right back up again.

It’s just a service, if it was something that tracphone wanted to absolutely keep you from disabling, they would have put it in the bootloader. It’s most likely just a marketing app that they get kickbacks for including on their phones

I work for a lighting and staging company and it’s different with each artist, some we hold on to for the artists, some are donated to us, most are kept on the tour trucks with the crew chiefs keeping eyes on them all the time

I think the most manly thing I do is wear pink, I recently got a custom make shirt,bright pink with a big honkin “I love cowboys” printed on the front. Teenage me would be cringing but my thought is, “if you’re manly, you can handle the color pink”

So I think I know what you’re talking about, but I don’t think having hobbies is the issue here.

You do see this a lot when guys are talking and someone brings up a sort of niche hobby (tech, fan bases, something that requires a lot of knowledge)

Guys will all show interest but not want to be talked down to or mansplained to on a topic they’re passionate about (yes ladies we experience it too)so they overcorrect and try to prove their knowledge real fast.

This sometimes leads to a sort of feedback loop where the other person thinks they’re trying to one up them and tries to be the more knowledgeable one and on and on, I’ve seen so many guys do this, that’s why I avoid talking about hobbies with IRL friends (looking at you RuneScape)

Your feet are not suited for long distance travel because you wear shoes, just walk around a bit without them, you’ll grow callouses

Update, so we talked, she admitted she had been acting rather tersely, apparently she and her whole family is because her grandma seems to be getting more and more delusional each year and its putting strain on everyone, I told her I understand I just wanted some transparency.

She took it pretty well but to be expected there was some mopiness after the fact because she felt so bad, after cheering her up with daily dose of internet videos in the tent were back and ready to face things again
