I cycle to work a couple of days a week, which is ~35km total

Most days I do push-ups and a bit of stretching etc

17.5 x 2, it is a pedal assist ebike though, I’m still pedaling my ass off but I go up hills a lot quicker than I normally would.

It is still pretty impressive. Considering a lot of people don’t even want to work a km or two to work.

Thanks! I love it, I feel so much better since I started doing this and the commute turned from chore to pleasure.

    edit:

    about sprints: https://hilariouschaos.com/post/1843?scrollToComments=true

in contrast there is “liss” low intensity steady state exercise. think: walking, or like jogging or something, for a while

stretching. balance exercises (maybe while lifting). plyometrics (jumping) exercises? kneesovertoes exercises for knees (like walking backwards).

does that cover all the bases?

I think this is more for cardio. Not much muscules are gained. Cardio should be a part of your training but forgetting about the muscules is not ideal. Unless you are training to be professional athlete I guess

Stretching, yoga, straight-leg sit-up ( 70-100 per day depending on a day), lifting ( small) weights and moving whole day ( not only walking but mostly, plus I have extra-weights in my boots). If it is raining I am in-doors so day off from marathon boot torture.
